most people won't be able to come until after work ... silly!

i will be drunk (hic!) and playing pool tho. count on it.

Well, Lynn and I got there and there were only a few people, and then they trickled out so since I was drinking already I had to watch Pricilla Queen of the Desert. Yeah Baby!

But I had fun.

well i got there at two ... and stayed until 830ish

only a few people showed up so i was chatting with at most two folks at a time. someone else would come, and the folks that were there would leave. i was a bit tired by the end and had to bail on costello :(

food: great oysters! my burger didn't come medium rare tho. yummy fries and $3 pints are a steal.

pool: um, the table needs to be leveled and refelted. my friend byron is the bar manager and he came over from *my* neighborhood bar smittys. smittys is a pool bar and i never would have thought that missing chalk would be tolerated in his new place ... but he is busy in the other room serving drinks. my friend from smittys and i were playing and got quite frustrated ... and passed it on to byron, so we will see if that improves.

atmosphere: i liked it. the pool room was very friendly. they have centipede and a pinball machine. also an old jukebox ... with 7 plays for a buck. the restaurant was comfy and worked well for eating and drinking. the lounge area wasn't really open ... which was disappointing, because it had the only cushy seating in the house.
